New Year's Eve in Marrakech: Entertainment to Rent for Your Villa or Riad Party
To entertain a private New Year’s Eve party in a villa or riad rented in Marrakech, Rent All hires out equipment by the day, delivered, set up and collected on site: an inflatable 6-seat hot tub (1,200 MAD/day) to see in midnight in the water, a 360° photo booth (1,900 MAD/day) or a magic mirror photo booth (4,900 MAD/day, unlimited prints) for the evening’s pictures, an audio and video guest book (4,200 MAD/day) to record everyone’s wishes, and games for the small hours: an arcade machine (1,500 MAD/day), a pinball machine and a foosball table (1,200 MAD/day each).
This guide helps you choose for your group, spread the entertainment across the night (before, at and after midnight) and check the space, power sockets and cover your rental needs.
Key takeaways
- Daily rates are the same all year round; your quote confirms whether the equipment is available on your date and the actual rental period.
- Before midnight, a photo booth welcomes guests; around midnight, the guest book collects wishes; after midnight, the arcade machine, pinball and foosball take over.
- The hot tub needs at least 6 m², no balcony or wooden structure, and 1 to 2 hours to set up depending on water flow.
- The arcade machine, pinball, foosball and VR simulator belong indoors or under cover; the arcade machine and pinball need a 220V socket.
- The 360° photo booth, magic mirror and guest books come with no deposit: a dedicated Rent All attendant operates the equipment.

What entertainment should you rent for a New Year's Eve party in a Marrakech villa or riad?
A private New Year’s Eve party has none of the constraints of a formal reception: no set dance floor, no rigid seating plan, a group that knows each other and an evening that starts early and ends late. Entertainment mostly gives that long night a rhythm, built around one big moment: midnight.
The table below compares the options that suit a New Year’s Eve party best. Prices and deposits are those shown on each product page; the space listed is what the product page recommends.

Before midnight: welcoming guests and taking pictures
The first hours of a New Year’s Eve party are often the most scattered: guests arrive in waves, drinks stretch on, some people haven’t met yet. A photo booth instantly creates a meeting point and gives new arrivals something to do.
The 360° photo booth: the video of your night
The 360° photo booth films 360° videos, with or without slow motion, on a 100 cm round platform that holds up to 4 people (300 kg maximum). Its RGB lighting, with a ring light and adjustable LEDs, lets you match the mood to the theme of your party: sequins, black and gold, or an all-white night.
Videos go through a dedicated app that optimises them for Instagram, TikTok, WhatsApp and Facebook, so guests can share them in real time. The photo frame can be personalised with your names, the date of the event or a theme: 31 December becomes the signature on every keepsake.
It rents for 1,900 MAD per day with no deposit: a dedicated Rent All attendant operates the booth and welcomes your guests. It can be used outdoors if the space is suitable and safe; our team will advise you based on your venue.
The magic mirror photo booth: printed photos to take home
The magic mirror photo booth is an interactive photo booth with a 65″ touchscreen: guests see themselves, interact and take their photos instantly. Its Canon EOS 2000D camera (24.1 MP) delivers sharp pictures even in changing light.
Prints are unlimited for the whole event. A dedicated host looks after your guests, and a props pack is supplied (hats, glasses, wigs, fun signs). You can choose the frame colour to match the theme of the night.
It costs 4,900 MAD per day with no deposit; the price covers the day’s rental, set-up, dismantling, unlimited prints, props and the host. The booth measures 157 × 95 × 63 cm and weighs 65 to 90 kg depending on configuration. Outdoors, it needs suitable conditions: shelter, power and safety.
360° or mirror: which one for New Year's Eve?
Go for the 360° if your group loves video and shares a lot: it’s the most spectacular format, and the cheaper of the two. Go for the mirror if you want paper prints everyone can take home in the morning, or if several generations are celebrating together: the touchscreen and the host make it easy for everyone.
Renting both only makes sense for a large group spread across several spaces. To compare the models in more detail, read our complete guide to photo booth rental in Morocco.
At midnight: recording wishes and crossing into the new year together
The countdown lasts a few seconds, but everything around it makes the memory of the night: the hugs, the first wishes, the messages to loved ones who couldn’t make it. Two options fit this moment particularly well: the guest book for the words, the hot tub for the picture.
The audio guest book: the year's wishes, in voices and faces
The audio and video guest book replaces the paper guest book: each guest records an audio or video message on an HD tablet in a few seconds. It can play a personalised welcome message, in audio or video, for example inviting everyone to make a wish for the year ahead.
There is no limit to the number of messages. After the event, Rent All sends you every audio and video file in digital form, edited (sound clean-up, simple editing). You keep everyone’s wishes, ready to play back next New Year’s Eve.
It rents for 4,200 MAD per day with no deposit: a dedicated attendant operates it and welcomes your guests. The Heart audio and video guest book, at the same price, adds a heart-shaped structure edged with LED lights: guests pick up a handset and record their message through a built-in Apple tablet. Set-up usually takes 30 to 45 minutes; ask us to confirm its exact footprint when you request a quote.
A practical tip: set the guest book up in a quiet room or a corner of the patio away from the music, and open it from the start of the evening. After midnight the volume rises; messages recorded in calm are easier to listen to.
The hot tub: seeing in midnight in the water
For a group of friends, this is the picture of New Year’s Eve in a villa: the countdown in the water, under the night sky. The inflatable Intex 6-seat hot tub seats up to 6 people, and its product page names private villas as one of its most common uses: it sets up in the garden or on the terrace.
It rents for 1,200 MAD per day, with a refundable deposit of 2,100 MAD. It comes with everything it needs to run. If your group is larger than six, take turns: it is hired by the day, so everyone can spend some time in it before or after midnight. Set-up requirements are covered further down, in the logistics section.
After midnight: games that keep the night going
Once wishes have been exchanged, part of the group dances and the rest looks for something else to do. A games corner in a living room or under a covered gallery keeps the non-dancers busy, and brings together guests who didn’t know each other at the start of the evening.
The arcade machine: more than 15,000 retro games
The arcade machine comes with more than 15,000 pre-installed games (fighting, platformers, sports, puzzles, classic arcade) on a 24″ Full HD LED screen with Pioneer 2.1 sound. It runs offline, with no Wi-Fi, from a standard 220V socket: no need to rely on the villa’s internet connection.
Fighting and sports games lend themselves to a high-score challenge between guests; the library mixes classics adults will recognise with retro titles younger guests will be discovering for the first time. It measures 69 × 56 × 169 cm; allow 1.5 to 2 m² of clear space around it. Price: 1,500 MAD per day, refundable deposit of 4,800 MAD.
The pinball machine: 1 to 4 players
The professional pinball machine takes 1 to 4 players and comes with 4 steel balls. Its multicoloured LED lighting and built-in stereo sound draw the eye in any living room. It is intuitive enough to need no explanation, and it does not require a dedicated attendant during the event.
It measures 71 × 140 × 193 cm and weighs about 120 kg, so it needs a flat, stable surface, a 220V socket nearby and about 2 to 3 m² of clear space. It rents for 1,200 MAD per day, with a refundable deposit of 4,800 MAD.
The René Pierre foosball table: the first tournament of the year
The René Pierre MATCH foosball table is a professional café-style table, made in France, with built-in metal score counters and balls included. Short games rotate a large number of players quickly, in singles or doubles: perfect for a “first tournament of the year” right after midnight.
Being fully mechanical, it needs no power at all, so you can place it far from any socket. It measures about 155 × 105 × 90 cm, weighs about 73 kg and needs 3 to 4 m² of clear space so the telescopic rods can slide freely. Price: 1,200 MAD per day, refundable deposit of 2,300 MAD.
The VR simulator: for the curious
The KAT Walk virtual reality simulator combines an omnidirectional treadmill with a wireless Pico headset: players walk, run and explore 360° worlds without leaving the spot. Several environments come pre-configured (fantasy worlds, futuristic spaces, zen experiences, sports simulations), and several people can take turns through the night.
The treadmill takes up about 1.2 m² of floor, with 3 to 4 m² of clear space around it. It is designed for users from 1.55 m to 2.00 m tall and up to 130 kg, and an attendant is on site to guide players. Price: 2,500 MAD per day, refundable deposit of 2,000 MAD.
A family New Year's Eve: adapting the entertainment for children
A family New Year’s Eve often brings several generations under one roof. According to its product page, the pinball machine gets children, adults and seniors playing with the same enthusiasm, and the arcade machine’s game library covers every difficulty level.
The B900 BOX NBA basketball hoop (1,200 MAD per day, deposit of 2,100 MAD) adjusts in height from 2.10 m to 3.05 m: lowered for younger children, raised for adults. Its 6 large wheels make it easy to move. Its product page doesn’t say whether it can stay outdoors, so ask when you request a quote if you want it in the garden. For basketballs, the product page asks you to contact the team, who will look at this option for your event.
The VR simulator is designed for users from 1.55 m to 2.00 m tall: for a smaller child, the product page asks you to check compatibility with the team before booking. If your party is mainly for the children, our guide to kids’ and teen birthday party entertainment explains what suits each age.
Villa and riad logistics: space, sockets, shelter and the hot tub
A rented villa or riad wasn’t designed with party equipment in mind. Before booking, walk around the property, or ask the owner for photos, with three questions in mind: where is the space, where are the sockets, and what is covered.
Setting up the hot tub outdoors
The hot tub needs a minimum of 6 m². It can go in a living room, a veranda, a garden or a concrete outdoor area, on tiles, vinyl, concrete, parquet or lawn. It is not suitable for balconies or wooden structures, for safety and stability reasons.
Thinking of a riad’s roof terrace? Check that the surface is concrete rather than wooden decking, and have the spot approved by the team: they assess your space when they set up.
Set-up takes about 1 to 2 hours depending on water flow, so make sure there is a water point within reach and agree the set-up time when you request a quote, so that it is finished before guests arrive. Dismantling takes an hour at most.
For an open-air December night, think about comfort around the tub: towels and bathrobes within reach, a lit path between the hot tub and the house, a non-slip floor. The product page doesn’t state the water temperature: if that matters to you, ask when you request a quote.
Games: indoors or under cover
The arcade machine, pinball, foosball table and VR simulator are recommended for indoor or sheltered use, away from moisture and bad weather. In a riad, a living room or a covered gallery around the patio works well. In a villa, a tent or covered area is enough for the arcade machine, the foosball table and the VR simulator.
For the pinball machine outdoors, its product page asks you to contact the team so they can look at your space. The arcade machine should also stay out of direct heat: avoid placing it in full sun on the afternoon of the 31st.
Power sockets
The arcade machine and the pinball machine run on a standard 220V socket, which should be close to where they stand. The foosball table needs none. For the magic mirror set up outdoors, power is one of the conditions to meet. For everything else, ask the team what to plan for when you request a quote, and find the available sockets in each room beforehand.
Circulation and noise
As a rough guide, add up the recommended areas: a games corner with the arcade machine (1.5 to 2 m²), pinball (2 to 3 m²) and foosball (3 to 4 m²) needs 6.5 to 9 m² of clear space on its own, before you count onlookers. Keep the guest book away from the music, and put the photo booth near the entrance or the drinks area, where every guest passes.
Finally, let the owner or property manager know what’s coming: delivery of some heavy equipment (the pinball machine weighs about 120 kg), a set-up time and collection date agreed in the quote. Mentioning this when you book the villa or riad avoids surprises on the day.
Three combinations for a private New Year's Eve party
These examples simply add up the daily prices shown on the product pages; they are not packages. Deposits are refunded once the equipment has been checked on return.
A small group of friends: hot tub and arcade machine
1,200 + 1,500 = 2,700 MAD per day, with 2,100 + 4,800 = 6,900 MAD in deposits. The hot tub for midnight, the arcade machine for the small hours: two simple options, one outside, one in the living room.
A big family gathering: magic mirror, arcade machine and foosball
4,900 + 1,500 + 1,200 = 7,600 MAD per day, with 4,800 + 2,300 = 7,100 MAD in deposits (the mirror requires none). Printed photos for every generation, with a host to guide everyone, and two games young and old can share.
The full night: hot tub, 360° photo booth, audio guest book and foosball
1,200 + 1,900 + 4,200 + 1,200 = 8,500 MAD per day, with 2,100 + 2,300 = 4,400 MAD in deposits (the photo booth and guest book require none). Every part of the night has its moment: videos on arrival, wishes at midnight, then the hot tub and the tournament.
You can swap any item for another one from the table and work out the total yourself. A single trip and a single set-up cover all the equipment you choose.
What to know before renting for 31 December
Advantages
- Daily rates are the same all year round. What changes from one request to another is whether the equipment is available on your date.
- In Marrakech, delivery, set-up and collection are included in the daily rate.
- The 360° photo booth, magic mirror and guest books come with no deposit, and a dedicated Rent All attendant on site.
- Cancelling more than 48 hours before the rental date costs nothing.
Limitations
- Prices are per day: for a party that starts on the 31st and ends on 1 January, tell us the real duration, including set-up and dismantling, to get a fair price. The collection date and time (during the night, on 1 January or later) are to be confirmed in your quote.
- Cancelling less than 48 hours before incurs a fee of 30% of the total amount.
- Rental is paid in advance by bank transfer, and the deposit is due before the equipment is handed over.
- Late return or return to a different place may incur extra charges: agree the collection date and place when you book.
- The arcade machine, pinball and VR simulator are recommended for indoor or sheltered use: they can’t simply stand in the open air.

Booking your New Year's Eve entertainment
To book, Rent All needs your full name, email address and phone number, plus the date and place of delivery and return. Your booking confirmation is sent by email or WhatsApp.
The product pages recommend booking ahead, especially for weekends and busy event periods: the simplest approach is to secure your entertainment as soon as the villa or riad is booked. Also tell us your party’s timings, the exact address and, if possible, photos of the spaces you have in mind: it helps confirm where the hot tub and games will go before the day.
