Corporate Team Building Activities: the Games and Equipment to Rent in Marrakech
For corporate team building activities in Marrakech, the games worth renting are the ones people play together and understand without a briefing: the René Pierre foosball table played in doubles, the height-adjustable NBA basketball hoop, the arcade machine for score challenges and the KAT virtual reality simulator as the headline event. Each one is rented by the day, from 1,200 to 2,500 MAD, with delivery, set-up and collection included in Marrakech.
This guide starts from what you want to achieve (getting departments to meet, getting a team to cooperate, creating healthy competition) and works back to the equipment. It then covers three formats, how to rotate groups, budgets added up from our prices and the practical limits of a meeting room. For venues and outdoor activities, see our complete guide to team building in Marrakech.
Key takeaways
- Four games cover most indoor team building needs: foosball (1,200 MAD/day), NBA hoop (1,200 MAD), arcade machine (1,500 MAD) and VR simulator (2,500 MAD, staff member on site).
- A four-station rotating workshop gets 40 people playing in just over 1.5 hours with 20-minute slots (our estimate, to adjust to your schedule).
- Budgets added up from the prices on the site: 3,900 MAD/day for three games, 6,400 MAD for four stations; refundable deposits on top.
- In a hotel meeting room, check the ceiling height (hoop up to 3.05 m, punching bag about 2.30 m), the 220V sockets and the noise next to the plenary room.
- In Marrakech, delivery, set-up and collection are included; for a quote, send the date, the venue in Marrakech, the number of participants and the games you want.

Which games should you rent for a corporate team building?
Indoor team building works on one simple rule: every game should serve a goal. Before picking equipment, decide what you expect from the session. Do you want departments that rarely talk to finally meet? A team to learn to coordinate? A bit of friendly competition to lift the energy of a heavy seminar? The same foosball table is used quite differently depending on the answer.
The table below matches each game in the Rent All catalogue with the goal it serves best, along with the daily price and deposit shown on its product page and the space it needs.
| Game | Main goal | Price / day | Deposit | Space needed |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| René Pierre foosball | Cooperation in pairs (doubles) | 1,200 MAD | 2,300 MAD | 155 × 105 cm + 3–4 m² clear |
| NBA basketball hoop | Team challenge, mixed skill levels | 1,200 MAD | 2,100 MAD | Base 145 × 77 cm + a shooting area |

| KAT VR simulator | Headline event, one player at a time | 2,500 MAD | 2,000 MAD | ~1.2 m² + 3–4 m² clear |
| Punching bag | Letting off steam, indoors only | 1,200 MAD | 900 MAD | ≈ 1.40 × 1.40 m, 2.30 m high |

Matching each game to a team-bonding goal
Breaking the ice: games that need no explanation
The first few minutes often set the mood. If the activity opens with a long briefing, the quieter people switch off. The arcade machine and the pinball machine work the other way round: you wander over, watch a game, then take the next one. According to its product page, the professional pinball machine takes 1 to 4 players and needs no prior explanation. The arcade machine comes with more than 15,000 games: fighting, platform, sports, puzzle and classic arcade titles.
Set these two up at the welcome area, open while the group arrives or during the coffee break. They start conversations between people who have not met yet, without forcing anyone to play.
Getting people to cooperate: doubles foosball and the basketball relay
To work on coordination, choose games where several people have to act together. In a doubles match on the René Pierre foosball table, each pair splits defence and attack and has to talk while the ball is moving. The built-in metal score counters keep track without a referee, and balls are included.
On the NBA hoop, turn the individual contest into a relay: every team member shoots in turn and the team score is the sum of their baskets. Nobody wins alone, and the least confident colleague counts as much as the best shooter. The rim can be set by hand anywhere between 2.10 m and 3.05 m.
Healthy competition: rules that level the field
Competition motivates when everyone has a chance of winning. Two levers are enough: count team scores rather than individual feats, and adjust the difficulty. The adjustable hoop helps here, with one round at a middle height for everyone, or a height per level announced before you start.
On the arcade machine, the product page mentions fighting, sports and shoot ’em up games for running a tournament or a score challenge between participants. A format where each member’s best game is added to the team total keeps everyone involved, whereas a knockout bracket turns first-round losers into spectators.
Leaving something behind: team videos and messages
A team building session is worth ending on a shared moment. The 360° photo booth takes up to 4 people (300 kg maximum) on its 100 cm platform, so each team records its own video, with or without slow motion. You can personalise the frame with your company logo, the event date or a theme. A dedicated Rent All staff member runs the booth and welcomes participants, and no deposit is required.
The audio and video guest book can do more than collect compliments: ask each team to record what they take away from the day, or one commitment for the months ahead. The device can play a custom welcome message that repeats the instructions. There is no limit on the number of messages, and Rent All then hands over the edited audio and video files, ready-made material for your debrief.
Planning for the people who would rather not play
Not everyone wants to hit a punching bag or walk through a virtual world. Plan at least one quiet station: the guest book, the arcade machine or a Zero Gravity massage chair. Keep the limits from the product pages in mind too: to step onto the VR treadmill, users must be 1.55 m to 2.00 m tall and weigh no more than 130 kg, and the punching bag is aimed at beginner to intermediate level.
If you want a proper recovery area during a conference, our article on setting up a wellness corner for a seminar covers the massage chair and the rowing machine in detail.
Three team building formats using rented equipment
The equipment stays the same; the format changes where it fits in the day. Here are three common formats for a company or a seminar, from the simplest to the most structured.
An afternoon at the office: three games, open access
For a team staying on its own premises, there is no need for a complicated programme. Three games set up in a shared space (cafeteria, cleared open-plan area, emptied meeting room) are enough for an afternoon: foosball, the arcade machine and the basketball hoop. The foosball table is fully mechanical and needs no socket; the arcade machine runs offline, without Wi-Fi, on a standard 220V socket.
Set one simple rule, such as an arcade score challenge open all afternoon and a team ranking on the hoop, then announce the results at the end of the day. The Rent All team sets up and checks the equipment before you start, then comes back to collect it.
A half-day at a seminar: the rotating workshop
In a hotel or seminar venue, the afternoon after the working sessions suits a rotating workshop. The group is split into teams; each team spends a fixed time at one station, then moves on at the signal. Four stations make a balanced base: doubles foosball, the NBA hoop relay, the arcade score challenge and the VR simulator.
A Rent All staff member is on site for the simulator. For the other three stations, pick a station lead from your own team to explain the rule and keep score. The final ranking adds up each team’s points across the four events: a team that is strong at basketball can lose on the arcade, which keeps the outcome open. For the rest of the programme (sessions, breaks, evening), see our guide to organising a corporate seminar in Marrakech.
The evening after the seminar: an open games area
In the evening, the point is no longer to rotate teams but to keep the conversations going. Leave the games on open access: pinball, arcade machine, foosball, plus the 360° photo booth for group videos. The guest book comes into its own at this point, once participants have had time to reflect on the day. If the evening is a gala dinner or an incentive trip, our article on gala dinner entertainment in Marrakech covers the attractions that suit it.
If your evening is the staff end-of-year party rather than a seminar, our article on entertainment for a company end-of-year party is a better fit.
How many games for how many participants?
The product pages give no hourly capacity: how long a game lasts depends on your rules. So the right calculation starts from your schedule. Here is the method; the examples are our estimates, to replace with your own figures.
The rotating workshop formula
- number of teams = number of stations;
- team size = number of participants ÷ number of stations;
- total time = number of stations × slot length + changeover time between slots.
Example: 40 participants, 4 stations, 20-minute slots and 5 minutes to change stations. That gives 4 teams of 10 and 4 × 20 + 3 × 5 = 95 minutes, just over an hour and a half of play.
What that means station by station
With 10 people per team, the stations are not all used the same way. A doubles foosball match takes 4 players, so plan two short matches or a rotation of pairs. On the hoop, the relay has everyone shooting one after another. On the arcade machine, each person plays their own score run.
The VR simulator comes with one KAT Walk treadmill and one Pico headset: one person plays at a time, and participants take turns. Twenty minutes for 10 people would give each of them about 2 minutes. Two options: name two or three representatives per team for this event, or take the simulator out of the rotation and keep it open for the whole half-day, with the staff member on site managing the queue.
Beyond 60 participants
With 80 people, four stations would mean teams of 20, too many for everyone to really play. Two options: move to 8 stations (8 teams of 10) by adding the pinball machine, the rowing machine, the punching bag and the 360° photo booth to the four core stations, or run two waves of 40 people on 4 stations, with half the group in the workshop while the other half attends a working session, then swap. Give your headcount in your request: the quote confirms that each game is available on your date.
Budget: four set-ups added up from our prices
Each game is rented by the day. The amounts below are simple sums of the prices shown on the product pages and on our rental prices page, which stay the same all year round. Deposits are listed separately: they are not an extra charge but a guarantee, taken at booking and returned once the equipment has been checked on return.
| Set-up | Equipment | Total / day | Refundable deposits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Afternoon at the office | Foosball + arcade machine + NBA hoop | 3,900 MAD | 9,200 MAD |
| Rotating workshop, 4 stations | Foosball + NBA hoop + arcade machine + VR simulator | 6,400 MAD | 11,200 MAD |
| Rotating workshop, 6 stations | The 4 stations + pinball machine + RW900 rowing machine | 9,400 MAD | 17,800 MAD |
| Evening after the seminar | Pinball machine + arcade machine + 360° photo booth + audio guest book | 8,800 MAD | 9,600 MAD |
To add a quiet station: the massage chair at 1,500 MAD per day (3,600 MAD deposit) or the audio guest book at 4,200 MAD (no deposit). These are not packages: swap any line for another game from the comparison table and recalculate.
For a seminar lasting several days, prices remain daily: give the real length of the event, counting set-up and dismantling, so the quote is accurate. Within Marrakech, delivery, set-up and collection are included; for Casablanca, Rabat, Agadir or elsewhere, travel is priced into the quote according to distance and the amount of equipment. On payment, the rental terms ask for the rental to be paid in advance by bank transfer, with no cancellation fee more than 48 hours before the date (within 48 hours, 30% of the total amount is due).
What to send for a quote in Marrakech
Four details are enough for an exact price: the date, the venue in Marrakech (hotel, seminar room, offices), the number of participants and the games you have chosen. In Marrakech, delivery, set-up and collection are already included in the prices above, so the quote simply adds up the daily rates. Get in touch through the contact page, by phone or WhatsApp on +212 6 61 68 64 46, or at [email protected].
Setting up games in a seminar room or hotel
A meeting room is not a games room. Before you confirm your list, walk round the venue with the points below in mind, then include the answers in your quote request.
Floor space and circulation
Add up the areas given on the product pages: 3 to 4 m² of clear space for the foosball table, 1.5 to 2 m² for the arcade machine, 3 to 4 m² around the VR simulator. For the four-station workshop, that already comes to 7.5 to 10 m² before the hoop, which needs a shooting area on top of its 145 × 77 cm base. Leave room as well for teams waiting their turn and cheering on their players.
Ceiling height
Some seminar rooms have low ceilings, chandeliers or suspended ceilings. The basketball hoop adjusts from 2.10 m to 3.05 m, and the ball travels above the rim, so measure the real height, chandeliers included. The freestanding punching bag stands about 2.30 m tall, and the rowing machine needs about 2 m of ceiling height.
Power, floor and access
The arcade machine and the pinball machine plug into a standard 220V socket; the foosball table needs no socket at all and can go in the middle of the room. For the VR simulator, the 360° photo booth, the rowing machine and the massage chair, the product pages do not detail power requirements, so ask when you request your quote.
The punching bag stands on its own freestanding base, so no drilling is needed: it just needs a flat floor, indoors. Also flag the route from the vehicle to the room: the pinball machine weighs about 120 kg and the foosball table about 73 kg, which matters if there are steps. The hoop, for its part, moves on its 6 large wheels.
Noise next to the plenary room
An arcade machine with a Pioneer 2.1 sound system (2 × 20 W), a pinball machine with built-in stereo audio and teams cheering their players make noise. If other groups are working in nearby rooms, put the workshop in a foyer, on a covered terrace or in a separate room, and ask the venue when noise is acceptable. The RW900 connected rowing machine, on the other hand, uses silent magnetic resistance, which makes it a discreet fitness challenge.
In the hotel garden
Running the workshop outdoors is tempting. The product pages, however, recommend the arcade machine, the foosball table and the VR simulator for indoor or sheltered use; for these three, a tent or covered area is enough. The punching bag stays indoors only, and for the pinball machine the team looks at your set-up case by case. For genuinely outdoor activities, see our guides to team building venues in Marrakech, Casablanca, Rabat and Agadir.
Sample programme: a team building half-day at a hotel
Here is an example for 40 participants, to adapt to your own timings. The durations are working assumptions, not limits of the equipment.
- Before 2:00 pm: the equipment is delivered, set up and tested (delivery time agreed with the venue).
- 2:00 pm: 4 teams of 10 formed across departments, rules and scoring explained.
- 2:10 – 3:45 pm: rotating workshop, four 20-minute slots (doubles foosball, hoop relay, arcade score challenge, VR simulator with representatives).
- 3:45 – 4:05 pm: break; the massage chair stays open to all.
- 4:05 – 4:35 pm: basketball final between the top two teams, in front of the whole group.
- 4:35 – 5:05 pm: each team records its 360° photo booth video and leaves messages on the audio guest book.
- 5:05 – 5:30 pm: results and debrief.
This programme uses six pieces of equipment (foosball, hoop, arcade machine, VR simulator, 360° photo booth and audio guest book): 12,500 MAD per day in Marrakech, with 11,200 MAD of refundable deposits on top, since the photo booth and guest book require none. Adding the massage chair for the break brings the total to 14,000 MAD per day and the deposits to 14,800 MAD.
The debrief is where the game connects back to work: which strategies won, who spoke up, what got in the way. The messages recorded on the guest book make a good starting point.
Booking the equipment for your team building
To book, Rent All will ask for your contact details (full name, email, phone) and the dates and addresses for delivery and return; you then receive confirmation by email or WhatsApp. To get an accurate quote first time, include:
- the date of the activity and the venue in Marrakech (hotel name or office address);
- the number of participants and the format you have chosen (open access, rotating workshop, evening);
- the games you want, or simply your goals if you would like advice;
- the activity times and the times the venue accepts delivery and collection;
- the ceiling height and the location of sockets in the room;
- the city, if the event is not in Marrakech.
Book early: the product pages for the arcade machine, pinball machine, foosball table and hoop advise it, especially for a weekend or a busy event season. If you are also running a stand at the same event, our article on trade show booth attractions covers the games that draw visitors in.

Frequently asked questions
Which games should you rent for a corporate team building?
For an indoor team building, the René Pierre foosball table (played in doubles), the height-adjustable NBA hoop, the arcade machine and the KAT VR simulator make a solid four-station base. The 360° photo booth and the audio guest book work well to close the session, and a massage chair offers a quiet station.
How much does it cost to rent team building games in Marrakech?
Prices are per day: 1,200 MAD each for the foosball table and the NBA hoop, 1,500 MAD for the arcade machine, 2,500 MAD for the VR simulator. Four stations come to 6,400 MAD per day, plus 11,200 MAD of refundable deposits. Delivery, set-up and collection are included in Marrakech, and prices are the same all year round.
How many games do you need for 40 people?
By our estimate, 4 stations are enough: 4 teams of 10 rotate through 20-minute slots, about 95 minutes including changeovers. The VR simulator takes one player at a time, so send team representatives or keep it open throughout.
Can the games be set up in a hotel meeting room?
Yes, if the room has enough space and height: 3 to 4 m² of clear space for the foosball table, 1.5 to 2 m² for the arcade machine, up to 3.05 m for the hoop and about 2.30 m for the punching bag. Plan a 220V socket for the arcade machine and for the pinball machine; the foosball table, being mechanical, needs none.
Do you need staff to run the games?
A Rent All staff member is on site for the VR simulator, and a dedicated staff member runs the 360° photo booth and the audio guest book. The pinball machine needs no staff member; for the other games, appoint a station lead from your own team.
Do you rent team building equipment in Casablanca or Rabat?
Rent All is based in Marrakech, where delivery, set-up and collection are included. For Casablanca, Rabat, Agadir or another city, contact the team: travel is priced into the quote according to distance and the amount of equipment.
Can the games be set up outdoors?
The product pages for the arcade machine, the foosball table and the VR simulator call for an indoor or sheltered spot: a tent or covered area will do. The punching bag is for indoor use only. For the pinball machine, contact the team to look at your set-up.
Need equipment for your event?
Delivery, set-up and collection included in Marrakech. Tell us what you are planning, the city and the date, and we will put a quote together.
